Besides collecting stamps, I cherish a small collection of worldwide airmail labels (or airmail etiquettes as some do call them). The history of airmail labels dates back to early 20th century and the era of first commercial airflights. AFAIK, the labels were born to ease the life of postal clerks by allowing easy separation between groundmail and airmail.
And moving on with worldwide ATM stamps…Here are some ATM stamps from Spain. So far Spain has issued 172 different ATM-stamps: 1 Frama, 5 Klussendorf issues, and rest are Epelse/Mobba issues on thermal paper.
Let’s begin the exploration of worldwide ATM stamps with something easy: Cyprus. Cyprus has released 15 ATM stamps – 1 Frama and 14 self-adhesive Nadels. Unfortunately my Cyprus ATM collection has only one item to show, but it is a beautiful one
I admit that I have a lot of “projects” going on; and one of them is building a digital archive of various ATM (or variable rate stamps) stamps I have. The reason for my project is related to fact that several ATM’s (especially those printed on thermal paper) are self-destructive.
