Today’s mail brought the first results of my public stamp exchange offer. As the Finnish winter is having it’s peak (with temperatures around -20 up to -30 celsius degrees), I’ll be definitely having a blast during the weekend while enjoying the warmth of fireplace :)

The first exchange cover came from fellow blogger Gerd and it contained 200 stamps; 100 from Venezuala and the rest was miscellaneous worldwide.  Of these I was able to use 107 stamps (mainly due to Venezuala and other South Americas).  I must say that I was very pleased.

Below are some new stamps I received:

And below are some of the 107 (+ the one’s I didn’t need) stamps I’m sending in return. I hope many of them will add to Gerd’s collection.

But… A great start for my stamp exchange offer. That’s what it’s all about… Getting those worldwide stamps on the move with minimum fuss.

    Hello Keijo,

nice to see that posted stamp packet was so useful for you. A quote of more than 50 % I think it’s very good.

    Hi John,

this website IS NOT FOR private exchange adds as this is my personal website (and I like to keep it that way)…. If you want to exchange with me, then please check “my stamp exchange offer”.

But for contacting other stamp exchangers (and telling what you have/want), I recommend adding an exchange add to specialized website like tradestamps.eu.

    best,
