Cards around the world
And to end this weeks extragavanza with my mailbox contents, here’s a selection of cards I’ve received around the world. Thanks to Riccardo, Damic and Andrzej.
First there’s a lovely card (an amphitheatre shown below) from Croatia. The stamp on the card is a 3.50 Kuna definitive stamp (Michel #744AS, cat.value 0.70€) showing the clock tower at Rijeka. The actual stamp was issued in 2005, but the stamp on the card is from the second print (June 2006) with security perfin.

And finally here’s a lovely ship-related card from Italy. The main stamp is a 2006 commemorative issued for Italian Marines (Michel #3098, cat. value 1.20€). The other two stamps are common Italian definitives from “Women in art” series.
