Two covers from France
And from Venezuela to France, where I have received two covers.
The first cover was sent by Annaëlle from Coulaines. On top of Annaëlle’s cover was this stamp stamp showing a piece of ironwork at the Paris war museum.

France 2009 ironwork postage stamp
The stamp is part of larger (booklet) set containing 12 different stamps…. I was very pleasently suprised to find few recent used french stamps inside the cover. Merci beaucoup; they did a nice addition to my (somewhat small French) stamp collection.
The other French cover came from fellow blogger David Jastrzebski in Dijon. On the left side is 1.35€ commemoretive stamp showing enviromental artwork of Christo and Jeanne-Claude. I can only imagine what it would feel like experiencing art this way…. On the right is 0.85€ stamp issued in 2008 to commemorate diplomatic relationships with Israel. Somewhat interestingly the topic of the stamp(s) is airmail/aviotion.
