Let’s begin the exploration of worldwide ATM stamps with something easy: Cyprus. Cyprus has released 15 ATM stamps – 1 Frama and 14 self-adhesive Nadels. Unfortunately my Cyprus ATM collection has only one item to show, but it is a beautiful one ;)

Classic stamp designs: Cyprus George V definitive

Cyprus 1993 “Mufflon” error

I’m quite sure this is one of those errors that many stamp collectors have never heard of. I must confess that I was more than pleasantly suprised when checking the catalogue for this stamp.

Too much sun is harmful, even for stamps

Below are two copies of relatively common 1985 Cypros postage stamp that was issued for tourism.  This 15c stamp (Michel #634) is showing a woman at Protaras beach.  Stamp on the left is showing normal vibrant colors, stamp on the right is missing most brown/reddish tones.  A true color error ? Not likely.
