how would i go about setting up a link exchange with you and or this blog site?
Hi Brett,
I don’t do link exchanges in the way most webmasters do. Thus I don’t have a “exchange links” etc. similar proposals You see on several sites.
If I see a website like I like & find worthy, I will link to it one way or another – without expectations of a link back or similar. If it’s a common resource (blog, forum etc), then I’ll usually add a reference to my StumbleUpon on some point (I know, I’m a lazy updater)…. If it interconnects with something I’m writing at the moment (or later), then there’s a change I’ll make a direct link to post. Most sites I like will fall into both categories.
Right now your site has very little content that would justify a link IMHO. When/if it receives some interesting quality content / discussion, be guaranteed I’ll link to your site too one way or another. I know it’s lame to say this, but content is king. Without interesting content to read/browse, you have very small changes of getting new links from other quality websites. Add up good & interesting content, and you’ll have a winner.
best of luck with your forum,
-keijo-
Hi Keijo,
Just wanted to say that I find your blog incredibly useful and informative resource. I’ve been collecting stamps for a couple of years now (I got the philatelic bug in my late 20’s – despite specialising in German stamps from 1870 – 1945, I have somewhere acquired a random selection of stamp of world!) and I have yet to come across a site that is both professional and engaging as yours.
Keep up the good work,
Nick.
@Nick…. Thanks
