Malaysia covers
Once again it’s time to show some of the worldwide covers I’ve been receiving. Let’s kick off this week with these lovely covers from Malaysia.
These are sent by fellow blogger Kow Siew Lan. The first set shows Plam trees species issued on 15th May 2009. Palm trees on stamps are the Fish Tail Palm, Fan Palm and Serdang Palm, each with nominal value of 50 sen.

The second cover Kow sent to me contains Conservation of Nature set issued on June 18th 2009. Three elements of nature (air, water and forest) are portrayed in the stamps; personally I like the design of these stamps very much. In addition the cover has a 20 sen definitive stamp showing spotted dove; this was issued 14th May 2005.
Both of these sets contains a new security feature on Malaysia commemorative stamps – a fluorescent mark with images of flying birds and inscription SPM.

My compliments also to Kang Wei Xie for sending a lovely palm trees cover too.
