		<description>@Mary... If the task of typing dreads you, then simply don&#039;t do it. There are lots of alternatives to keeping an inventory (such as pen+paper; or making a video/presentation with narration). And it&#039;s not the end of the world if you never make any type of index/inventory.</description>

As always I turn to your website when I need some general info on stamp collecting. It is by far the best and easiest to navigate and with lots if info without being too technical specially for a new collector like me. 

Though I haven&#039;t physically seen your excel inventory system I&#039;m very sure, judging from the number of people asking for a copy, that it is better than the others around. As for me, I&#039;m not quite ready to do my inventory just yet. I still have a lot of sorting to do. Besides typing is my least favorite task. I am actually dreading that part of stamp collecting - or any other task which needs typing. Maybe in a few years time when we can do &#039;talk to text&#039; on the computer.....</description>
