This cover from Hungary is iMO one of the nicest ones I’ve received for a long time.
A fabulous cover from Hungary
The cover has two definitives issued in 2000/2001, both showing traditional furniture. The 1ft stamp has three-legged stool, 29ft stamp displays a carved wooden chair.
In addition the cover has 100ft stamp from the 2009 Europa CEPT issue with theme of Astronomy. Hungarian 2009 CEPT stamps were issued in form of souvenir-sheet of 4 stamps (2 of 100ft value, 2 of 230ft value).
And on the left corner is a 100+50ft semipostal/ surcharged stamp from the 2009 “For Yoth” miniature sheet. This years theme of the series is 150th anniversary of the “great story teller” Elek Benedek (1859-1929). The stamp is showing illustration from the “Mouse King”.
