As those following my stamp exchange more closely may have noticed, I have closed it down for Christmas season today. As I’m writing this, I have received 149 exchange covers from 56 fellow collectors from 31 countries during this year (and likely the numbers will increase by few, as some covers are still on their way)… In total over 15,100 stamps have been sent to me; and of those slightly over 6,600 stamps (or roughly 40%) have been exchanged successfully.

Covers with nice stamps are part of the exchange fun too - this insect-covered cover arrived from Canada yesterday.

My sincerest thanks to Gerd, Jacques-Marie, Klaus, Kristin, Aivars, Julius, Steven, Brad, Tsung Fei, Shrikant, Moses, Marco, Saurin, Graham, Ben, Rolf, Jayne, Marian, Guy, Keith, Dell, Bronwyn, Radojka, Haluk, Novie, Narender, Joseph, John, Azzam, Antoni, Rafael, William, Ardois Y, Seth, Paul, Patrick, Silviu, Iman, Akhil, George, Anthony, Joe, Elton, Richard, Aleksandar, Markus, Kristine, Fred, Trevor, Clarence, Thomas, Manuel, Andra, Adi,Werner and José Luis… Thanks to You I’ve been having lots of nice afternoons and late evenings sorting and finding new items to my stamp collection.

Some have already asked me when will the exchange continue? I don’t have any specific timetables on my mind, but sometime in early 2011 sounds very likely. But once again, more about this on closer date… In the meantime, happy collecting folks!
