Energy efficient buildings from Malaysia
I’m always very happy to see stamps commemorating the green causes and enviromental issues. On september 9th the Malaysian post issued a set of stamps featuring energy-efficient buildings.

2009 Malaysia - Energy efficient buildings
The 30-sen stamp features the Green Energy Office (GEO) building; it is the first government building designed with the capability to generate its own energy from green sources. The 50-sen stamp features Low Energy Office Building which houses the Energy, Green Technology and Water Ministry. And the 1RM stamp features The Diamond Building, which is designed in an inverted pyramid concept to create extensive shading of the building to reduce heat gained from its sides….My compliments to Ryvenn Foong for the nice postcard and stamps.
And while on the subject of Malaysia, below are stamps from a cover I received from fellow blogger Ronny Wong some time ago. On top of it has one of the 50 sen stamps commemorating Malaysian UNESCO World Heritage Sites, below is one of the three stamps to commemorate the Sultan of Perak’s silver jubilee. And on the bottom are two Malaysian definitive stamps.
