Though many Finns use cars extensively to move around, in 1976 the situation was slightly different and sleigh riding to church was somewhat common on the country side. Unfortunately it’s a tradition that no longer exists besides few random commercial service providers to attract foreign tourists.

I have this stamp in my collection….its lovely–alonq with 11 other christmas stamps from 1976.

I agree, this one does have a very attractive design…I was definitely not expecting to read/respond a comment about Christmas stamp in middle of hottest summer, LOL.
