Busy, busy, busy…
As some know, last week was autumn holiday in Finland. Like most finns (living outside the capital), I was travelling with my family. And it was a blast though the weather was quite chilly and it snowed on several days… Anyway, though vacations are nice, they also mean a lot of unresponded mail and chores expecting at home arrival. For the last few days I’ve been trying to handle “the mountain”… So please, be patient. I’ll get there slowly but surely
. In the meantime, here are couple of interesting stamp related tidbits and some covers.
Ridiculous stamp issues
CddStamp’s Michael launched a nice competition about “Ridiculous stamp issues” couple of weeks ago. Sadly it turned out I was the only attender with the North Korean “The Conqueror of the Universe” Deluxe miniature sheet.

And here’s the entire set as “normal” miniature sheet:

IMO the deluxe sheet is 100%…LOL.
Some incoming covers
Fellow blogger David Jastrzebski sent me a letter from Monaco in August, and I had the best intention to show the cover in september at the blog. Well, better late than never:

2009 Monaco - Grand Prix racing 80 years commemorative stamp
Another item I’ve had in “scan pile” for over a month is this R-cover from Germany. It uses both pre-euro and euro era definitives (something that seems to be an increasingly popular topic to collect):

2009 Germany - Registered cover to Finland
