Blog updated and misc. news
It’s time for some non-philatelic babbling (meaning if you’re interest ONLY about the stamps, you may skip this specific post)…
I just upgraded the blog platform to latest and boldest edition of WordPress (2.8.3). Though the upgrade seemed to went smooth and everything appears to function normally, there is always a possibility that something went/is broken with the update process. So please, If you notice any misbehaviour within the blog, please leave a comment.
The “antispam”-feature (where you have to click the image that is NOT a stamp to add a comment) seems to function more than well. The number of junk comments has dropped from over 100 comments a day to 1-2 comments a day.. I admit, that I was somewhat worried that the number of real comments might drop down as readers feel akward with the “IQ test”. But luckily You all have proofed me wrong… And yes, I know. It’s boring to see the same Finnish stamps rotating time and again. I’ll try to add new images within couple of weeks.
Other news… I have a new FaceBook address…. It’s http://www.facebook.com/stampcollector/ … I was more than happy to receive this new “short address” as it is very easy to remember… Some have asked me (privately) if I will be on Twitter. The answer is (for the time being) a simple no.
That’s all folks!

Discovered your blog through “The Stamp Collecting Round-Up” blog and have given it the honor of a bookmark. Look for a postcard from me soon.
This was a very useful post for me, as I had failed the spam test a few days ago. The comment I had wanted to post is mute, as one of your other readers has already made the same comment.
Best wishes from one of your newer and more mentally challenged readers.
Carol
Hi Carol,
and wellcome aboard. The more stamp collectors read this site, the happier it will get
Your postcard had landed my mailbox on friday. It was very nice looking (even though it was slightly hit by international/automated mail handling). Thank you.
best,
