American and Finnish Idols on postage stamps
Personally I like the so called personalized postage stamps, but I hate to see them getting “overcommercial” aspects. Below are two sets of stamps both illustrating Idols winners. The first stamp set is from Finland, the latter from US.

Tough some of the money of Idols stamps goes to charity, IMO they represent a very scary picture of modern stamp publishing. These are IMHO nothing more than overpriced products for collectors and fans alike.

I agree that these are issued mainly for the purpose of collecting revenue.
Hi Jerry,
and thanks for the comment.
PS. There’s some kind of (css/layout) problem with your site/store when surfed with Opera browser. All the product listings “drop out” from the page area. With Firefox and Internet Explorer the site works fine.
